The National Assets and Government’s Property Commission participated in the 2025 Civic Festival, a landmark three-day national event organized by the Ministry of Information and Civic Education to promote civic awareness, transparency, and meaningful citizen engagement in governance.
The festival, which commenced on 11th December 2025 and concluded on 13th December 2025, brought together Ministries, Depart
ments, and Agencies, Civil Society Organization’s, and Development Partners under one roof. It served as a platform for public institutions to showcase their mandates, policies, achievements, and ongoing programs, while creating direct channels of communication between government and citizens.
The event was formally opened by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Brigadier Rtd. Dr. Julius Maada Bio, who underscored the importance of civic education, accountability, and responsible governance in national development. His presence set the tone for a festival centered on openness, public dialogue, and institutional transparency.
