Mr. Kanja Ibrahim Sesay serves as the Secretary to the Commission of the National Assets and Government Property Commission (NAGPC), where he plays a pivotal role in coordinating the administrative and strategic functions of the Commission.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Diversity Management (MDM) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Politics and Law, demonstrating a strong commitment to equipping him with a strong foundation in governance and innovation in public service. His academic background is complemented by professional experience in Administrative management, Law and Diversity Management, data administration, and institutional coordination.
As Secretary to the Commission, Mr. Sesay is responsible for overseeing the preparation and documentation of Commission meetings, maintaining official records, and ensuring effective communication between the Commission, management, and external stakeholders. He has contributed significantly to improving internal processes through the integration of digital solutions, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and record management within the institution.
Among his key achievements is his role in supporting the development and rollout of digital platforms for the Commission, including initiatives aimed at strengthening asset tracking and inventory systems. He has also played an active part in stakeholder engagements with Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), contributing to the successful implementation of national policies related to government property management.
Mr. Sesay is known for his professionalism, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. His dedication to public service and institutional development continues to support the NAGPC’s mandate of ensuring accountability, transparency, and effective management of national assets.
